About Us

With a passion for all things automotive, a career in design and marketing, combined with a competitive involvement in motorsport, both as a driver and as a team owner, it was inevitable that selling classic sports cars became the next chapter in the story...

A Lifelong Petrolhead

Cross Channel Sports Cars was born out of my lifelong interest in cars, which ultimately led to my involvement in motorsport. I have competitively raced everything at British championship level, from karts through to single-seaters, sports cars and saloons, at all the race circuits in the UK and many iconic circuits in Europe.

Visiting french race circuits in a variety of different sports cars over the years, inspired the concept of ‘Cross Channel Sports Cars’ and gave us the opportunity to establish a business, specialising in classic British sports cars in South West France.

Now based back in the UK, the knowledge we have gained over the last 15 years, allows us to offer help and advice to clients importing and registering their classic cars in France.

Cross Channel Sports Cars

Established in 2012, when we moved from the UK to the sunny South West of France, the business was initially focussed on hiring-out classic sports cars. After a few years we changed the focus, to selling mainly 'British' classic sports cars, realising the passion that the French held for them.

Buying most of our classics from the UK and importing them into France, meant we were fast becoming specialists in the Immatriculation process. We soon found ourselves offering our services to numerous 'Expats' and French nationals, who were bringing classic cars over themselves.

Needless to say over the years we've encountered many issues associated with gaining French Immatriculation and are now able to offer our experience, to help our clients register their dream cars in France.
